Cookie Policy
About this document
European law treats cookies as a separate matter from the broader processing of personal information. We have respected that distinction by maintaining this Cookie Policy as an independent document. Read alongside our Privacy Policy, the two together describe how Since Love Jewelry handles your data and your device.
What follows is a complete inventory of the cookies we set on sincelovejewelry.com, a clear statement of the technologies we have declined to use, and the controls available to you. We have aimed to disclose more than the law requires, on the principle that a luxury client deserves transparency proportionate to the trust they have placed.
If you are looking for the controls themselves rather than the explanation behind them, the Cookie Preference Center in Section 5 is the most direct path.
This Cookie Policy explains how SoarNet LLC, operating the Since Love Jewelry brand, uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on sincelovejewelry.com and our related digital services. It is intended to satisfy the disclosure requirements of the European Union ePrivacy Directive, the General Data Protection Regulation, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions. This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy; the two documents should be read together.
Scope
This Cookie Policy applies to cookies and similar tracking technologies deployed on sincelovejewelry.com, on our customer account portal, in our marketing emails, and in any embedded content we publish on third-party platforms. It does not apply to cookies set by independent third-party websites you may reach through links from our services, nor to cookies set by social media platforms (such as WeChat, Instagram, or YouTube) when you interact with us on their platforms directly — those interactions are governed by the privacy policies of the respective platform operators.
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Cookies allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your language preference or the contents of your shopping cart, and to recognize you on subsequent visits. Some cookies are essential for the site to function; others are optional and used only with your consent.
Technical Distinctions
Not all cookies are the same. We distinguish among them on three dimensions, each of which has different implications for your privacy and your choices.
- Session Cookies versus Persistent Cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them, and allow the site to remember you across visits.
- First-Party Cookies versus Third-Party Cookies. First-party cookies are set directly by sincelovejewelry.com. Third-party cookies are set by domains other than ours — for example, by an analytics provider or an advertising platform — that we have integrated into our services.
- Strictly Necessary versus Optional. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function and do not require your consent under European law. Optional cookies, including performance, functional, and advertising cookies, require your prior informed consent in jurisdictions that mandate it.
Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies for four principal purposes: to make our website function (without certain cookies, you cannot complete a purchase); to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it; to remember your preferences such as language and currency; and where you have given consent, to support our marketing communications. The complete inventory of cookies we deploy, along with the specific purpose of each, is presented in Section 3 (Cookies We Deploy).
Below is the complete inventory of cookies deployed on sincelovejewelry.com, organized by category. Cookies in the Strictly Necessary category do not require your consent and cannot be disabled without breaking the site. All other categories are optional, and we deploy them only with your prior consent. The specific cookies in deployment may evolve as our site develops; the most current list is always available in our Cookie Preference Center, which you can open at any time using the button at the bottom of this page.

In addition to cookies, websites and digital communications use other small technologies to identify devices, measure engagement, and personalize content. These technologies are often grouped under the broader term "tracking technologies" and are subject to the same consent requirements as cookies under European and Californian law. The technologies we use are described below; technologies we have specifically chosen not to use are also disclosed for transparency.
Technologies We Use
- Web Beacons (Tracking Pixels) in Email. When you receive an email from Since Love that you have consented to receive, the email may contain a small transparent image (a "web beacon") that loads when the email is opened. This allows us to confirm delivery and to understand whether the email was opened, in aggregate. Web beacons in our marketing emails are deployed only after you have opted in to marketing communications, and you can disable image loading in your email client to prevent them from functioning.
- Local Storage and Session Storage. Modern browsers provide alternative storage mechanisms beyond traditional cookies. We use local storage and session storage in limited circumstances for the same purposes as the strictly necessary cookies described in Section 3 — for example, to preserve your shopping cart state in a way that is more efficient than cookies for larger data structures. Local storage entries are subject to the same consent requirements as their cookie equivalents.
- Server Log Files. Our web servers maintain log files of incoming requests for security, abuse prevention, and operational diagnostics. These logs include your IP address, browser type, request timestamp, and the resource requested. Server logs are not technically "tracking technologies" set on your device, but they do contain information that may identify you and are subject to the disclosures in our Privacy Policy.
Technologies We Have Chosen Not to Use
For the avoidance of doubt, and in the interest of transparency that exceeds what is legally required, we explicitly disclose the tracking technologies we have decided not to deploy on sincelovejewelry.com.
- Device Fingerprinting. We do not employ techniques that build a persistent device identifier from a combination of device characteristics such as installed fonts, screen resolution, browser plugins, and time zone. Device fingerprinting is widely considered an invasive substitute for cookies because it identifies devices without giving users a meaningful way to refuse.
- Session Replay Recording. We do not deploy tools that record your mouse movements, scrolling behavior, keystrokes, or screen interactions for later replay by our team. Session replay tools provide rich behavioral insights but raise serious privacy concerns about the inadvertent capture of sensitive personal information.
- Cross-Device Identity Graphs. We do not participate in identity-resolution networks that link your activity across multiple devices into a single profile, nor do we use deterministic or probabilistic identity matching beyond the standard authenticated session for clients signed into their Since Love account.
- Cross-Device Identity Graphs. We do not participate in identity graph services that link your activity across multiple devices through deterministic or probabilistic matching. While our advertising partners may operate their own identity graphs internally, we do not contribute to or query third-party identity graph services.
You have meaningful control over the cookies we set on your device. We provide three layers of choice: a Cookie Preference Center on our site, browser-level controls, and industry-level opt-out tools. The most direct path is the Cookie Preference Center, which gives you category-level control over our specific cookies.
Consent Mechanism
For visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other jurisdictions requiring prior consent, we deploy a cookie consent banner on your first visit that does not pre-select any optional categories. Optional cookies are not set until you have made an affirmative choice through the banner or the Cookie Preference Center. Your consent is recorded for twelve months, after which we will request renewed consent.
For visitors from the United States and other jurisdictions without strict prior-consent requirements, we deploy cookies in accordance with applicable law — for example, recognizing the California "Do Not Sell or Share" preference signal as described in Section 6 — while still providing the Cookie Preference Center as a voluntary choice mechanism for all visitors regardless of jurisdiction.
Browser Controls
All major browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings, including blocking all cookies, blocking third-party cookies only, deleting existing cookies, or receiving notifications when cookies are set. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the site from functioning. Instructions for the most commonly used browsers are below.
Settings › Privacy and Security › Cookies and other site dataPreferences › Privacy › Manage Website DataSettings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site DataSettings › Cookies and site permissions › Manage and delete cookiesIndustry Opt-Out Tools
For the avoidance of doubt: as stated in Section 3, Since Love Jewelry does not currently deploy advertising cookies, so the industry-level opt-out tools listed below have no effect on cookies set by us. We list them here in the interest of completeness, for visitors who use them generally across the web.
- Network Advertising Initiative · optout.networkadvertising.org · Opt out of behavioral advertising from member companies in the United States.
- Digital Advertising Alliance · optout.aboutads.info · Opt out of interest-based advertising from participating United States companies.
- European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance · youronlinechoices.com · Opt out of behavioral advertising from member companies in Europe.
- Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada · youradchoices.ca · Canadian equivalent of the DAA opt-out tool.
Modern browsers can transmit standardized signals that communicate your privacy preferences to the websites you visit. We respond to these signals as a matter of policy, exceeding what United States federal law requires.
Do Not Track Signals
Some web browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry consensus on how websites should respond to Do Not Track signals, and because the W3C standardization process for DNT was discontinued in 2019, we do not respond to Do Not Track signals as a separate mechanism. We respect the Global Privacy Control signal instead, which has been formally recognized by the California Attorney General as the valid technical mechanism for exercising opt-out rights under the CCPA.
How to Enable Global Privacy Control
The Global Privacy Control signal is supported natively or via extension in most modern browsers. Detailed enablement instructions for each browser are maintained at globalprivacycontrol.org, an independent resource maintained by privacy advocates and not affiliated with Since Love Jewelry. Once enabled, GPC will signal your preference automatically to all websites you visit, including ours.
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we deploy, in the third-party tools we integrate, or in the legal requirements that apply to us. The version number and Effective Date at the top of this document indicate when the most recent update occurred.
